Following her strong debate performance in Nevada and her appearance before House Benghazi committee, Hillary Clinton’s popularity is surging in Hollywood, where her supporters have added another October fundraiser — this one co-hosted by Kate Hudson and Zach Braff — for the former Secretary of State’s presidential campaign.
With few tickets left for Clinton’s three fundraisers in Los Angeles on Nov. 4 and 5, Hudson, Braff and CAA agent Michael Kives have teamed up to host an additional event — featuring Clinton’s campaign manager Robby Mook — at Kives’ home on Nov. 6. Tickets for that event range from $250 to $1,000.
“Before, we were calling people and asking them to attend,” one Clinton bundler told The Hollywood Reporter. “Now, they’re calling us and asking if tickets still are available.”
Clinton will appear at a Wednesday fundraiser at the Beverly Hills home of Christina Aguilera and Matthew Rutler. Guests are being asked to raise $10,000 each for the event, which will include a performance by Aguilera.
The former First Lady has two events scheduled for Thursday: A conversation with guests at the Brentwood home of Michele and Rob Reiner with tickets priced from $2,700 to $27,000; a similar fundraiser will follow at the Hancock Park home of Cynthia Telles and Joe Waz. Individual tickets are priced at $1,000, while the co-hosts are pledged to raise $50,000 for Clinton’s campaign.
