We all recall what a fashion plate Princess Diana was – she lived in Versace, wore designer duds even to the gym.
But the woman who would be her daughter-in-law, Kate Middleton, will not be following in her fashionista footsteps, chic as she is.
A palace source in England just told Britain’s Daily Mail: ‘Both William and Kate feel it would be wrong for Kate to promote herself as a fashion or style icon.”
Why? Because apparently the Queen – William’s grandmama – doesn’t not approve of such vanity and frivolity. But why would she? Look at the way she dresses!
It’s said Kate has had to turn down covers of both British Vogue and American Vogue because the queen would not be amused. Too bad. Even in her sometimes cheap and chic clothes, Kate looks like a million bucks.
