Kate Middleton has been named Hat Person of the Year by the Headwear Association.
The Duchess of Cambridge drew a dominating 91 percent of the vote and topped stylist Rachel Zoe (4 percent), singer Ne-Yo (2 percent), Justin Timberlake (1 percent), Bruno Mars (1 percent) and Charlie Sheen (1 percent).

This is only the third year the Headwear Association has named a Hat Person of the Year. Previous recipients were Hollywood A-listers Brad Pitt, who graces the cover of the current Hollywood Reporter magazine, and Johnny Depp.
The group highlighted Middleton’s top hat looks, including a “velvet cabernet hat by Rose Cory” worn on Christmas Day, a “maple leaf headpiece” by Silvia Fletcher on a trip to Canada and a Vivien Sheriff fascinator worn last February.
The Headwear Association, founded in 1908, is the oldest fashion trade association in the industry.
