Kate Middleton and Prince William pulled off a secret vacation with their two young children and released the photos to prove it. Accompanied by the Press Association’s Royal Photographer, John Stillwell, the couple and their little ones, Prince George, 2, and Princess Charlotte, 10 months, took a quick ski vacation to the snowy French Alps.
“This was their first holiday as a family of four and the first time either of the children had played in the snow,” stated Kensington Palace in a caption accompanying the photos on its official Instagram account. “It was a very special and fun short holiday for the family, and they are very grateful that John Stillwell was able to capture the moment so well.”
The intimate pictures include a portrait of the happy royal family, dressed in ski gear, as well as photos of the new parents playing in the snow together (looks like Kate might have won a snowball fight). Stillwell also snapped Prince William holding a beaming baby Charlotte, bundled up in a white snowsuit with a pink knitted hat, proudly showing off two new bottom teeth.
