A photo of Hillary Clinton aboard a plane reading a USA Today story about Vice President Mike Pence’s recent email scandal is making its rounds on social media.
In the photo, Clinton is seated on a plane with her cellphone in her hands, staring down at a newspaper in front of her, with the headline “Pence used personal email in office” sprawled across the front page.
Pence has come under scrutiny for using a private email account to communicate with advisers about homeland-security issues as Indiana’s governor, according to public records unearthed Thursday by The Indianapolis Star. Pence’s personal AOL account was hacked last spring, before he was selected to join President Donald Trump’s administration.
The vice president has addressed the report, stating that there’s “no comparison whatsoever between Hillary Clinton’s practice of having a private server.”
