What kind of calls has Donald Trump been receiving since Gawker published his cellphone number?
Jimmy Fallon imagined that even President Barack Obama seized the opportunity to speak with the Republican presidential candidate directly in a bit on Monday in which the Tonight Show host impersonated the Trump (complete with a blond wig and oft-pursed lips).
In the segment, Obama offered Trump advice on the upcoming presidential debates, and said he’s offering to help his party’s opponent become president “because it’d be hilarious! Look, I’ve been president for eight years — I’m ready for some entertainment. I just want to grab some popcorn, sit back and watch this whole shitshow go down.”
The joke-filled sketch had Trump responding to questions with, “Yes, thank you. I am great, and very rich,” before throwing around random numbers and figures, offering to fix all problems with giant walls and mentioning that his dentist just nabbed Cecil the Lion as his “souvenir.”
“The media loves me, they try to act like they don’t but they do,” Fallon as Trump also explained. “They keep coming back for more. They’re like Chris Christie at a Golden Corral buffet.”
Plus, the only way to beat Internet auto-tuners is to auto-tune your own debate — and, while you’re at it, a few lines of Omi‘s hit song “Cheerleader.”
