Pollak swims with 'Shark' as recurring

Meet Sebastian Stark's new boss.

Kevin Pollak is joining the cast of CBS' legal drama "Shark" as a recurring, playing Lloyd Cutler, the new Los Angeles District Attorney who defeated Jessica Devlin (Jeri Ryan) in her bid for re-election.

Also joining the cast of "Shark" as a recurring is Kevin Alejandro, who will play William Lyons, a street-smart, tough prosecutor specializing in organized crime.

"Shark," from 20th Century Fox TV and Imagine TV, chronicles the professional and personal life of Stark (James Woods), a star defense attorney-turned-prosecutor who heads the Los Angeles D.A.'s high-profile crime unit. Devlin will now join his team.

"Shark" returns for a second season in a new slot, Sunday 10 p.m.

"Shark" reunites Woods and Pollak who co-starred together in Martin Scorsese's "Casino."

Pollak's credits include the indie "Numb" and the Lifetime telefilm "The Staircase Murders."

Alejandro's series credits include regular roles on Fox's "Drive" and Showtime's "Sleeper Cell: American Terror" and an ongoing recurring role on ABC's "Ugly Betty."

He is repped by TalentWorks, Main Title Entertainment and attorney Jason Hendler.
