The always diplomatic Obama (who is known for repping designers native to whichever nation she is traveling to or hosting) turned to two classic designers for her looks: Carolina Herrera and Monique Lhuillier.
FLOTUS greeted the Pope on Tuesday in a robins egg blue cowl neck dress by Carolina Herrera. The knee-length cut and cheerful color give off the perfect, "Welcome to America, Pope Francis!" vibe — conservative, but not too Catholic school girl.
