PorchLight reveals two projects

'Fireball,' 'Martian Christmas' headed to MIPCOM

NEW YORK -- PorchLight Entertainment is unveiling two new projects just in time for MIPCOM: Front Street Pictures' action-adventure film "Fireball" and the animated holiday telefilm "A Martian Christmas," co-produced by PorchLight and Mexico's Anima Estudios.

Kristoffer Tabori's "Fireball" will follow inspector Ava Williams as she investigates a prison fire to its source, a prisoner seeking revenge against those who put him behind bars. The feature from Front Street ("We Don't Live Here Anymore") will be released theatrically and on television in various territories.

"Christmas," which PorchLight will rep with European distribution partner BetaFilm, centers on a Martian boy caught up in an intergalactic race to save both Christmas and the planet Earth.

Other projects PorchLight president of worldwide distribution Ken DuBow is bringing to MIPCOM include Sean and Allison Cody's educational TV series "Global Kids Show," the mummy feature "Tutenstein: Clash of the Titans" and the fairy tale tv series "The Princess and the Pea Chronicles."
