Power Outages Disrupt Cowboys-Giants Game on Fox

Action on the field came to a halt during the third quarter after several banks of lights went out.

After 12-minute game delay, the network's onscreen graphics were temporarily disabled, leaving viewers in the dark about the score and time left on the clock.

Two power outages disrupted Fox's Sunday night telecast of the NFL game between the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys, according to Yahoo Sports.

During the first outage, several banks of lights at New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., went out, briefly stopping the action on the field. A few minutes later, the entire stadium went dark and the game was stopped temporarily.

After a 12-minute delay, play resumed, but not without glitches that hindered the telecast.

The referee's microphone wasn't working, and Fox's onscreen graphics were temporarily disabled, which left viewers in the dark, so to speak, about the score and time remaining.
