Bristol Palin Defends Herself Against "Giddy Assholes": "This Pregnancy Was Actually Planned"
The 24-year-old daughter of Sarah Palin recently announced that she is expecting her second child.
Bristol Palin is firing back at critics of her latest pregnancy announcement.
The 24-year-old former Dancing With the Stars contestant and daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin posted a blog message Sunday to defend herself against claims that her current pregnancy was unplanned.
"So here are the things you should all get straight before you continue to mock me, judge me and talk about me," Palin wrote. "None of us are perfect. I made a mistake, but it’s not the mistake all these giddy a$$holes have loved to assume. This pregnancy was actually planned."
"Everyone knows I wanted more kids, to have a bigger family," she continued. "Believing I was heading that way, I got ahead of myself. Things didn't go as planned, but life keeps going. Life moves on. But I do not regret this baby. This baby is not a disappointment, and I cannot wait to be a mom times two."
She added that her 6-year-old son, Tripp, whose father is Levi Johnston, is "going to make the best big brother."
Palin revealed Thursday that she is pregnant with her second child but did not divulge the father's identity. Her planned May wedding to 2011 Medal of Honor winner Dakota Meyer was called off shortly before the scheduled date.
