The couple were engaged in a Hindu ceremony which took place Saturday in Mumbai.

It's official: Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are engaged. The couple confirmed their engagement Saturday via Instagram posts. "Taken. With all my heart and soul..," Chopra posted to her 26.2 million followers on Instagram along with a photo with Jonas. He also posted the same photo on his Instagram account with the caption, "Future Mrs. Jonas. My heart. My love."

The couple were engaged in a traditional Hindu ceremony, held on Saturday morning at the actress' Mumbai residence, which was attended by close family and friends. Jonas' parents, Paul Kevin Jonas Sr. and Denise Miller-Jonas, also flew in to Mumbai for the ceremony.

Chopra posted photos of the ceremony which showed her wearing a traditional Indian outfit in yellow, while Jonas — and his parents — also wore Indian attire. Also seen in a group photo is the actress' younger brother, Siddharth, and mother, Madhu Chopra.

"The only way to do this... with Family and God. Thank you all for your wishes and blessings," Chopra posted along with photos of the celebration.

Chopra and Jonas have been in the spotlight ever since rumors first started to circulate that the couple were going to make it official.

As reported earlier, on Tuesday, Chopra's friend and Bollywood actress, Raveena Tandon, posted a picture on her Instagram account of Chopra wearing her engagement ring, which appeared to be a cushion-cut diamond from Tiffany & Co. People had earlier reported that Jonas shut down a Tiffany store to choose the bling in July. The pair reportedly dated for two months before he popped the question while feting her birthday in London.

Meanwhile, Chopra will star in Indian film The Sky Is Pink, a real-life drama directed by Shonali Bose, which the actress is also co-producing via her Purple Pebble Pictures banner. The film commenced shooting in Mumbai last week.

Chopra's next Hollywood release will be Isn't It Romantic with Liam Hemsworth, which is slated to open next year. The actress also landed the female lead opposite Chris Pratt in Universal's Cowboy Ninja Viking.
