Pro7 new media boss out after just 5 months

Dan Marks is latest exec to leave pan-European broadcaster

COLOGNE, Germany -- Dan Marks, head of the new media division at pan-European broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1, has resigned after just five months on the job.

ProSieben is citing the popular "personal reasons" for Marks departure. But it fits the pattern of the revolving door for ProSieben's executive branch. In the last year, the network has dumped executive board members Patrick Tillieux -- head of international TV; marketing boss Klaus-Peter Schulz; Matthias Alberti, co-head of ProSieben's free-TV divisionm and Marks' predecessor Marcus Englert.

ProSieben CEO Thomas Ebeling will take over Marks' duties, which cover the broadcaster's pay TV and VOD operations, until a replacement can be found.
