Prodigy PR Ups Richard Stafford to VP
Stafford worked on campaigns for such movies as 'Under the Shadow,' 'Cooties' and 'Knock Knock.'
Prodigy Public Relations has promoted Richard Stafford to vp, film publicity.
In the newly created position, Stafford will work with Prodigy president-CEO Erik Bright and COO Alex Klenert on strategies for theatrical, film festival and home entertainment campaigns.
Stafford joined Prodigy in 2012 as an account executive after spending more than a decade in radio, reality television and film production.
He worked on campaigns for such movies as the recent Sundance hit Under the Shadow, Elijah Wood’s Cooties, Eli Roth’s Knock Knock and Slow Learners, starring Adam Pally, among others.
Before joining Prodigy, Stafford worked in various capacities for television and film productions, including CBS’ Big Brother. Fun fact: He originally broke into the entertainment industry as a morning show co-host at KMGZ Magic 95 while studying communications at the University of Oklahoma.
