Promax/BDA hires new GM

Promax/BDA announced that it has hired Jill Lindeman as GM and has made several changes to its board of governors.

Lindeman had stepped in as a consultant for the organization earlier this year to run its MI6 and Promax/BDA conferences. Before becoming an independent consultant, Lindeman was most recently vp creative director for Disney ABC cable networks, where she oversaw the launch of "High School Musical," as well as the creation of the Disney Channel Games.

Promax/BDA also announced that Ashy Agency president Brett Ashy has been named chairperson of the BDA Board of Governors, a post previously held by Steve Kazanjian, DZN vp, creative and strategy.

Promax Chair and ABC Entertainment executive vp marketing Michael Benson also announced that Sci Fi Channel's senior vp, marketing and creative Adam Stotsky is replacing Lee Hunt as vice chair of the Promax Board. Hunt, who was appointed as interim managing director of Promax/BDA following Jim Chabin's ouster earlier this year, continues to be involved with the committee through his managing director role.

With Stotsky assuming the vice chair position, PBS' senior vp brand management and promotion Lesli Rotenberg has moved into the role of Promax board secretary, while the NBC Agency's entertainment division vp Scot Chastain is now Promax treasurer, assuming the position vacated by Paramount Pictures Domestic Television's executive vp Michael Mischler.
