Ex-ProSieben boss to join Premiere

Guillaume De Posch is adviser to Greece's Antenna Group

BERLIN -- Guillaume de Posch, former CEO of German broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1, is set to return to the German TV market, joining the supervisory board of News Corp.-controlled pay platform Premiere.

De Posch resigned as ProSieben head last year. He is currently acting as an adviser to Greece's Antenna Group.

De Posch's election to the board is set for Premiere's annual shareholders' meeting on July 9. That is also when the company will be official renamed Sky Deutschland to match News Corp.'s other European pay properties BSkyB in the U.K. and Italy's Sky Italia.

The name change is part of a major relaunch at the struggling German pay player. Premiere CEO Mark Williams has completely restructured and partially recapitalized the near bankrupt Premiere and hopes July's relaunch as Sky Deutschland will return the company to profit.
