ProSiebenSat.1 Produktion expands board
EmptyMUNICH -- ProSiebenSat.1 Produktion, the biggest subsidiary of Haim Saban's German broadcasting group ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG, has expanded its managerial board to include two new managing directors, Martin Emele and Christian Wegner.
Frank Meissner, who until Sept. 30 had been the sole managing director of the Munich-based production company, will continue as director of operations for parent ProSiebenSat.1 Media and remain as overall managing director and spokesman for the subsidiary.
The management change, retroactive to Oct. 1, names Emele as head of technology and Wegner as chief financial officer as well as chief of creative solutions and broadcasting services, according to the company's statement.
Emele has been with the company since 2003 as head of production planning, communication, customer care and business development.
He has been responsible since 2004 for the department of technology, which handles the entire technological infrastructure for the ProSiebenSat.1 Group.
Wagner came from the consultant firm McKinsey to ProSiebenSat.1 Produktion in 2004 as head of strategy and finance. He took over the department of creative solutions last May.
