Game of Thrones is believed to be the biggest TV production in Europe. According to reports, it has created 900 full-time and 5,700 part-time jobs and has helped establish Northern Ireland as a production location.
Members of the British royal family aren't strangers to TV show set visits. Last year, for example, Prince Charles visited the set of BBC hit show Doctor Who in Cardiff, Wales.
