Former 'Rachael Ray Show' EP Shane Farley Joins 'FABLife'
Rebecca Mayer, Karl Newton and George Davilas have also signed on for the new lifestyle talk show.
Four-time Daytime Emmy winner Shane Farley (The Rachael Ray Show) has signed on to executive produce the new syndicated lifestyle talk show FABLife, ABC announced Tuesday.
The daily hour – originally titled The Fab – will be led by Tyra Banks and feature a diverse panel of lifestyle experts including model Chrissy Teigen, fashion editor Joe Zee, interior designer Lauren Makk and YouTube star Leah Ashley. Celebrities, internet influencers, experts and everyday people will be invited to join the panelists to share their knowledge.
Rebecca Mayer (Toddlers and Tiaras) will serve as a co-executive producer, and Karl Newton (CNBC's City Limits Live) and George Davilas (The Doctors) are on board as senior supervising producers. They join executive producers Mark Schulman (Chelsea Lately) and Banks.
“We have strategically assembled a diverse team with strong leadership in Shane Farley and Co-EP, Rebecca Mayer,” said Lisa Hackner, executive vp, daytime & syndicated programming, ABC Entertainment Group. “This is a dream team of award-winning television producers culled from the daytime world as well as cable reality, and together they are uniquely positioned to launch a modern and innovative new daytime franchise this fall."
Premiering in September, FABLife will tape in Los Angeles in front of a live studio audience. The program will be anchored on the ABC stations in major cities and is currently cleared in more than 90 percent of the country.
The show is produced by Disney-ABC's Summerdale Productions, and will be distributed by Disney-ABC Domestic Television.
