Rachel Zoe on the New TV Sitcom Based on Her Life: 'This Is Another Baby of Mine' (Video)

Designer/stylist Rachel Zoe is in phase two of the development of a new TV sitcom based on her fabulous fashionable life.

Rachel Zoe is already a super successful stylist with her own clothing line and a long-running reality series -- The Rachel Zoe Project -- on Bravo. What's next? She's well on her way to becoming a TV producer of a scripted sitcom for NBC, based on her real life.

The Hollywood Reporter caught up with the Power Stylist and her husband Rodger Berman at last night's Elle Women in Hollywood event -- always one of the most fashionable red carpets of the season -- and asked her about the semi-autobiographical show.

"It’s a script that was sold and we're in phase two," Zoe explained. "We’ll see where it goes. It's all uncharted territory. This is gonna be another baby of mine, for sure. It should be really fun and really creative. The possibilities are endless, that’s the beauty of scripted televison."

About using her own life as the basis for the show, she said, "I have had incredible life experiences that provided the path for where I am now. I think it's important to explain to young women and men, to go for it, to live your dream, work hard and be passionate."

Because Klein creative director Francisco Costa sponsors the event, along with David Yurman, L'Oreal and Lexus, several of the guests, honorees and presenters were wearing Klein and Yurman, including Zoe. "They are incredible supporters of the evening and I'm honored to wear them." Her husband Rodger was wearing Prada.

Zoe is known to style A-list actresses Anne Hathaway, Cameron Diaz and Kate Hudson. So off-camera, we inquired about the rumors of her snagging Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence as a new client. Zoe stayed mum. "I don’t talk about my clients. That’s confidential. If I did, I’d have to kill you."

And you know what? We think she means it.
