Radical.Media Names Joe Killian Executive Producer of Music and Live Experiences
Already on Radical's music resume are several award-winning films including Paul Simon's "Under African Skies," "Metallica: Some Kind of Monster" and "Concert for George."
Joining @radical.media as new "music impresario" is Joe Killian, who will spearhead music, live entertainment and experiential initiatives, the company announced on Wednesday.
The veteran executive had most recently served as svp at Momentum Worldwide where he was a key driver on the American Express account. Prior to that post, Killian had worked with entertainment giants Live Nation, Irving Azoff’s Front Line Management, Ticketmaster, and AEG to secure deals for dozens of artists including Jay-Z, Coldplay, Jack White, The Killers, Taylor Swift and Kanye West.
Already on Radical's music resume are several award-winning films including Paul Simon's Under African Skies, Metallica: Some Kind of Monster and Concert for George along with many MTV docs featuring the likes of Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj, Drake and Demi Lovato. The company boasts additional credits in the digital sphere, including the Sting 25 ipad app, The Johnny Cash Project and Arcade Fire's American Express Unstaged performance directed by Terry Gilliam.
Said Justin Wilkes, President of Radical's Media & Entertainment group, in a statement announcing the post: "As we've evolved into a studio dedicated to telling stories across all media platforms, Joe's expertise within the music and live event space will only enhance our capabilities as producers ... We see ourselves as the nexus point where we can connect brands and agencies to creative, production and distribution channels and Joe becomes a critical piece in that equation."
