'Raines' on Yoba; 'Legal' ups Zimmer

Malik Yoba is set to co-star opposite Jeff Goldblum in NBC's midseason drama series "Raines."

Meanwhile, Constance Zimmer has been upped to a regular on ABC's "Boston Legal."

"Raines," from NBC Universal TV Studio, centers on Michael Raines (Goldblum), an eccentric, brilliant cop who talks to dead victims who help him solve his crimes.

Yoba will play Raines' ex-partner and confidant.

"New York Undercover" alum Yoba most recently co-starred opposite Andre Braugher on FX's "Thief."

Yoba is managed by Buchwald and Associates and manager Matt Luber at Nine Yards Entertainment.

After recurring on "Boston Legal" at the beginning of this season, Zimmer will become a regular starting with Episode 8. On David E. Kelley's legal drama, she plays Claire Simms, a sharp-tongued, aggressive new attorney at Crane Poole & Schmidt.

Zimmer, who co-starred on ABC's "In Justice," continues to recur on HBO's "Entourage."

She is repped by Innovative Artists and manager David Sweeney.
