As the new vp of corporate development for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, he will oversee the European rollout of the online streaming aggregator.

Former ProSiebenSat.1 executive Ramy Nasser has landed at online streaming aggregator ScreenHits TV.

As the company's new vp of corporate development for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), Nasser will oversee the European rollout of the online streaming aggregator.

ScreenHits TV, the fast-growing streaming aggregator service, said Nasser will be based out of Munich. He will focus on expanding Screenhits TV's footprint in German-speaking regions, as well as further territories across continental Europe.

ScreenHits TV launched in the U.S. and U.K. this fall and is planning to roll out across Germany, Spain, and Italy in the first half of 2021 as well as in Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Canada, and Australia. ScreenHits pitch is to offer customers a single interface that combines their pre-existing streaming subscription services and OTT channels.

At ProSiebenSat.1, Nasser was responsible for handling international partnerships and scaling the broadcaster's digital portfolio across the EMEA and overseas regions.

"Ramy’s international experience in the private and public sector brings a strength to our team that will help to accelerate our growth and shape our global strategy as we expand into new markets," ScreenHits TV CEO Rose Adkins Hulse said.

Nasser called joining ScreenHits TV "a tremendous opportunity to become a key member [and] join an ambitious company whose unique content discovery platform is well-positioned to smoothly enable subscription management. It’s hard to imagine a more exciting time being part of this and accelerate the European rollout."
