'Ranch' wrangles three


NEW YORK -- Gina Gershon, Bryan Cranston and Scout Taylor-Compton are joining Helen Mirren and Joe Pesci on the "Love Ranch," Taylor Hackford's drama of passion and betrayal in a Nevada brothel.

Gershon and Taylor-Compton play a veteran and a newcomer working on the ranch, where husband-and-wife owners Mirren and Pesci fall into a dangerous love triangle with a South American boxer (Sergio Peris-Mencheta). Cranston plays a state senator who becomes entangled in their sordid affairs.

The ensemble cast also includes Taryn Manning and Elise Neal, M.C. Gainey, Raoul Trujillo, Gil Birmingham and Rick Gomez.

Capitol Films is financing the indie project. "Ranch" is now shooting on location in New Mexico and Nevada.

Gershon is repped by Fortitude, Evan Hainey at Untitled and attorney Jeff Bernstein. Cranston is repped by UTA. Taylor-Compton is repped by Gersh and attorney Marcy Morris.
