The legendary WWF star suffered a heart attack while driving.

Famed WWF wrestler Macho Man Randy Savage died Friday in a car accident in Tampa, FL.

Savage, who was known for his trademark catchphrase "Oooooh Yeahhhh," suffered a heart attack while driving around 9:25 a.m., TMZ reports.

The wrestler, who began his career in 1985 on what used to be known as the WWF (it later changed its name to WWE), lost control of his Jeep Wrangler and veered through oncoming traffic before colliding head-on with a tree.

Savage was then transported to Tampa's Largo Medical center where he died from his injuries. He was 58.

Savage's wife of one year, Lynn, was a passenger in the vehicle, but only suffered minor injuries reports say.

Both Randy and Lynn were wearing seat belts and the Florida Highway Patrol said alcohol was not a factor.

An autopsy will be completed Saturday, according to reports.
