It's promotion week at RCA Records. On the heels of longtime publicity head Mika El-Baz's elevation to executive vp of west coast, the Sony Music label has announced that three members of her staff have also been bumped up.

Theola Borden and Sarah Weinstein Dennison have been promoted from vp to svp/publicity and will both remain in the company's New York City headquarters. Over in the west coast office, Jamie Abzug has been promoted to vp/publicity. All three will continue to report to El-Baz, who retains her role as executive vice president of publicity.

Prior to RCA, Borden held publicity positions at Elektra/Atlantic and before that, Jive/Verity Records. Her career began at the Apollo Theatre. In a statement, El-Baz calls Borden "relentless in her approach and dedication."

In her 10 years as vp/publicity at the label, Weinstein Dennison has overseen PR campaigns and strategy for artists including Usher, Sia, Gavin DeGraw, Pitbull, Santana, Shakira and Elle King. Prior to RCA, she held various positions at Island, Razor & Tie and Virgin Records. Additionally, she's worked on various campaigns for Rod Stewart, Bob Marley and the Biggie & Tupac documentary. El-Baz calls Weinstein Dennison an "enormously focused and determined publicist."
