Sony was approached about the idea from a businessman, the 'Breaking Bad' creator said in a Reddit AMA on Friday.

Breaking Bad fans may soon be able to taste the friend chicken that their beloved Walter White (Bryan Cranston) enjoyed on the AMC show.

Show creator Vince Gilligan revealed in a Reddit AMA that "there is talk" of making the ficitional fast food joint a reality.

"[T]here is talk of a Pollos Hermanos becoming a real restaurant. This is not an idea that I generated personally. But it's one that's been presented to me, through the good folks at Sony, and the idea came to them from a businessman who has an interest in doing just that," Gilligan wrote (as earlier spotted by Vanity Fair).

Fans offered further suggestions of spin-off BB business ideas: blue pop rocks-covered ice cream, "free GPS tracker installed under your car by a serial killer" (with the purchase of a combo meal) and a Walter-White look-alike eating and sitting alone in restaurants.

Gilligan also addressed why Los Pollos Hermanos' Gus Fring did not get a prequel show spin-off instead of Saul Goodman (Better Call Saul).

"I have to admit, a spin-off series about Gus Fring would be a good idea. There’s no perfect answer to that question, other than to say that creating a spin-off series related to Saul Goodman was an idea that we batted around pretty much since the creation of the character," Gilligan wrote.

He continued: "We always loved writing for Saul Goodman throughout the run of Breaking Bad. Now we find writing for Jimmy McGill — he’s so good with words that writing his dialogue is great fun, too. But you’re right, Gus could carry his own story. I wish there were more hours in the day, so that we’d be able to do ALL these shows!"

Gilligan says he is personally excited about the idea of a come-to-life Los Pollos Hermanos restaurant: "Speaking for myself, I'd love to see that happen!"
