Re-Recording Mixer Michael Keller Joins Todd-AO Studios
The film re-recording pro makes a move that can be seen as sort of a homecoming.
Re-recording mixer Michael Keller — whose credits include 2012 and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps — joins sound company Todd-AO Studios on July 5.
There, he will team with re-recording mixer Mike Prestwood Smith. Together, they are currently mixing John Singleton’s Abduction.
Keller first worked with Prestwood Smith in 2008 on Hellboy 2 and the pair also worked together on The Darkest Hour.
The move is a sort of homecoming for Keller, who previously worked at Todd-AO in the 1990s and began his career at the company’s affiliate, Soundelux.
CSS Studios, Todd-AO’s parent company, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Discovery Communications.
