Adrienne Banfield Norris, AKA Gam from Red Table Talk, is getting her own platform.

Norris, mother to Jada Pinkett Smith and grandmother to Willow Smith — with whom she hosts the Facebook Watch talk show — will launch her new podcast Positively Gam on Wednesday. The 24-episode show will see her sitting down with close friends and experts for in-depth conversations on topics ranging from aging, relationships, sex and wellness to the current issues facing the Black community and the inspirational people pushing for progress.

The first two episodes will release this week; one will feature Valerie Jarrett, former senior advisor to Barack Obama in a conversation about voting and the upcoming presidential election, and a second will feature influencer Lala Milan and social media expert Mauree Sullivan in a conversation about social media hacks.

In upcoming episodes, Norris will be joined by her son-in-law, Will Smith, for a conversation on living with compassion; by Willow Smith for a conversation about Black hair; by filmmaker D. Channsin Berry to discuss colorism and racism; and by Tabitha Brown to talk career paths and veganism.

Positively Gam, produced in partnership with Vaseline and Unilever Entertainment, is executive produced by Norris, Pinkett Smith, Amanda Brown and Fallon Jethroe on behalf of Westbrook Audio and Red Table Talk Productions. Sim Hothi serves as a co-executive producer. The series has a distribution and sales partnership with ART19, and will be available on all audio platforms including Apple and Spotify every Wednesday.

The podcast venture continues a big year for Norris and the Red Table Talk franchise, which in January was renewed through 2022 and spun off into a second show, Red Table Talk: The Estefans, hosted by Gloria Estefan, her daughter, Emily, and niece Lili.
