'Regenesis' finds life in U.S. syndication


BANFF, Alberta -- L.A.-based Program Partners on Monday said it has cleared the Canadian drama "Regenesis" from Shaftesbury Films in 75% of the U.S. market.

The procedural sci-fi series, which stars Wendy Crewson ("24") and Peter Outerbridge, will launch this fall in weekend slots in 30 of the top 40 U.S. markets on stations belonging to the ABC, CBS, Granite, Fox, Hearst, Landmark, Tribune and Young station groups, among others.

The Canadian drama follows a team of scientists who tackle medical and ethical dilemmas of modern science.

Program Partners is marketing "ReGenesis" along with other Canadian dramas including "Da Vinci's Inquest," "Intelligence," "Cold Squad" and "Stone Undercover."

"Regenesis" is sold worldwide by Oasis International and Shaftesbury Sales Co.
