CAA has hired EuropaCorp USA executive Federica Sainte-Rose as an agent in the media finance group. She joined the independent French studio four years ago and launched its worldwide acquisitions and co-productions division, overseeing titles including Their Finest, Miss Sloane, The Circle, The Nice Guys and The Old Man and the Gun. Sainte-Rose previously served as director of worldwide acquisitions for Universal Pictures as well as an executive at StudioCanal, where she acquired films including Moonrise Kingdom, Silver Linings Playbook and The Place Beyond the Pines.

Abrams Artists Agency has hired:

— Tru TV producer of development and original programming Sara Barkan as a theatrical literary agent in the New York office. Prior to her three-year stint at the cable network, she was a creative executive at Propaganda Films and had worked at both CAA and UTA. The Hobart & William Smith College graduate will report to vice presidents and division co-directors Sarah Douglas and Charles Kopelman.

— AEFH senior talent agent Jason Zenowich as a talent agent in the Los Angeles office. Before his eight-year stint at AEFH, he graduated from George Washington University with a bachelor's degree in international business affairs and began his career in finance at Salomon Smith Barney in Washington, D.C. before moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting, working at ICM Partners and Paradigm. He will report to vice president and division head Justin Baxter.

Principal Entertainment LA has signed English actor Christian Brassington, who plays Rev. Ossie Whitworth on BBC One/Mammoth Screen's Poldark. Fun fact: He has portrayed both Boris Johnson (in Channel 4's When Boris Met Dave) and Tony Blair (in Tony Blair: Rock Star for the same network). Brassington continues to be repped by the U.K.'s United Agents, as well as the U.K.'s Hamilton Hodell for commercials.

Production company Caviar has signed the following directors for branded content:

— Bo Burnham, whose debut feature Eighth Grade has earned widespread critical acclaim and a 99 percent Rotten Tomatoes score.

— Ben Sinclair, who stars in, writes and directs High Maintenance, now in its third season on HBO.

— Maggie Carey, whose 2013 debut feature The To Do List starred Aubrey Plaza and Bill Hader.

Digital-focused Select Management Group has signed:

— Comedic vlogger Haley Pham, who has two million total followers. She will be managed by Charley Button.

— High schooler Ava Jules, who has 644,600 total followers. She also will be managed by Button.

— Fashion YouTuber and Syracuse University junior Margot Lee, who has 451,700 total followers. She will be managed by Caroline Nardilla.

Fox News LA reporter Krystin Goodwin, who has an acting role in the upcoming Transformers spinoff Bumblebee, has signed with ZTPR for publicity.

Bicoastal production company Untitled has signed Jenna Laurenzo for commercial directing. After her short Girl Night Stand went viral, she has now written, directed, produced and stars in the feature Lez Bomb, which will be released Friday in theaters.
