Hey, it’s that guy!
Billions’ David Costabile has signed with ICM Partners. He plays Mike “Wags” Wagner on the Showtime drama, now filming its third season, and also can currently be seen in theaters as columnist Art Buchwald in Oscar-nominated The Post. The actor also may be recognizable to fans as Gale Boetticher in Breaking Bad, managing editor Thomas Klebanow in The Wire, Daniel Hardman in Suits, Detective Rick Messer in Damages and Doug in Flight of the Conchords, as well as films including Lincoln, 13 Hours and Side Effects.
On stage, Costabile has appeared in Broadway’s Translations, Caroline or Change and Titanic, as well as the Park Avenue Armory’s critically acclaimed staging of Eugene O’Neill’s The Hairy Ape. He also portrayed short-lived Health and Human Services secretary Tom Price in All the President’s Men?, an all-star reading of Trump cabinet confirmation hearing transcripts held at New York City’s Town Hall last May.
Costabile continues to be managed by Craig Gartner at Gartner/Green Entertainment.
Life goes on
Aden Young, best known for his starring role in the critically beloved Sundance TV drama Rectify, has signed with Anonymous Content. Since then, he has starred opposite Peter Coyote in the CTV miniseries The Disappearance and next will be seen in indie features Elsewhere and Angelique’s Isle.
Beauty by Desi-gn
CAA has signed lifestyle and beauty vlogger Desi Perkins, who has more than 3.6 million Instagram followers. In August, Perkins and fellow digital talent Katy DeGroot paired with Dose of Colors for the Desi x Katy cosmetic collection, which sold out in under six hours. Perkins also has worked with Lancome, MAC, Crest, La Mer and Maybelline, and created a sunglasses line with Quay Australia. She continues to be represented by attorney Patricia Wyrod of Think Create Group.
Growing up fast
Directing duo the Neymarc Brothers have signed with WME. Andrew and Remy Neymarc were 23 and 21, respectively, when they directed the 2012 Super Bowl ad featuring John Stamos for Dannon’s Oikos yogurt. Through their Neymarc Visuals banner, they have created spots for Pepsi, Tropicana, American Red Cross, Princess Cruises, Cadillac and Chevrolet, plus corporate videos for Forbes and Google. Most recently, their short film Happy Valentine’s Day — shot in one take, reversed and in slow motion — caught the eye of Hollywood executives and led to their WME signing. Happy Valentine’s Day will be released Feb. 7 on VFX’s YouTube channel.
