Lucifer’s Lesley-Ann Brandt has signed with Paradigm. Since the beginning of the Fox drama, now in its third season, she has played the demon Mazikeen, the best friend of the title character. Brandt continues to be represented by manager Matt Luber at Luber Roklin and attorney Matt Rosen at Stone Genow.
Joining a pantheon of talent
Sal Velez Jr. has signed with Pantheon Talent for theatrical representation and with Branding Avatar for management. The actor’s credits include ABC’s Ten Days in the Valley, Amazon’s Hand of God and Hulu’s Chance, as well as Macro's and America Ferrera’s Gente-Fied. The digital series, about the lives of seven Boyle Heights residents dealing with gentrification, premiered at Sundance in 2017 and is in talks to be adapted on Netflix. Velez continues to be represented by Abrams and by manager Gregg Edwards.
Wake up in Ducati
Motorcycle manufacturer Ducati Motor Holding has renewed its exclusive licensing representation deal with IMG. Since the two first started working together in July 2015, Ducati’s licensed product line have expanded to include eyewear, watches, fragrance, technology, apparel, footwear and accessories.
“Since we started working with IMG, it has been fantastic to see Ducati’s licensing presence grow into new territories across Europe, Asia and the Americas, and our entry into an eclectic range of relevant categories and products,” Ducati licensing and corporate partnership director Alessandro Cicognani said in a statement. “We are thrilled with the quality, diversity and popularity of the new product ranges we have launched over the past two years, and remain confident that IMG is the best partner to help us continue this expansion.”
Last year Ducati introduced male fragrance 1926, as well as Corse-branded drones in Europe; backpacks, luggage, wallets and headwear in Thailand; and men’s and children’s apparel in the Philippines. This year the brand will launch apparel collections in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia and high-end wooden balance bikes in Europe and North America, as well as products with new licensees: limited edition watches with Locman; sunglasses and prescription glasses with Mondottica; and apparel, footwear and accessories in India with Flipkart.
“Following a hugely successful couple of years working together to expand Ducati’s range of products and geographic footprint, we are delighted to be extending our relationship,” IMG licensing director Marcelo Cordeiro said in a statement. “As a best-in-class brand synonymous with style, design and performance, Ducati translates seamlessly into a diverse range of lifestyle products all over the world. We look forward to continuing to build the brand’s portfolio in new markets and launching exciting new collections.”
