Music to his ears

Songwriter and video producer Kurt Hugo Schneider, whose YouTube channel has nearly 5 million subscribers and more than 1 billion views, has signed with WME. He was previously with CAA. Schneider first gained viral attention in 2009, when he arranged, produced and edited a Michael Jackson medley featuring frequent collaborator Sam Tsui, which has garnered more than 32.7 million views. In 2013 Schneider teamed with Coca-Cola to create music video covers of Calvin Harris“Feel So Close” and Of Monsters and Men’s “Little Talks,” which aired during American Idol’s 13th season premiere as well as immediately after the Super Bowl. Schneider is managed by Michael Schneider.

How to get away with almost anything: Hire a good publicist

How to Get Away With Murder’s Alfred Enoch has signed with Lisa Kasteler and Samantha Hill of Wolf | Kasteler Public Relations. The Londoner currently plays law student Wes Gibbins on the ABC drama, a role for which he has been nominated for an NAACP Image Award. Prior to that, Enoch is best known for playing Gryffindor student Dean Thomas in the Harry Potter film franchise, although he also has appeared in Sherlock and Broadchurch, as well as the National Theatre productions of Coriolanus and Timon of Athens.

He’s going Hollywood

Actor Micah Stock has signed with ICM Partners. The newcomer is currently making his Broadway debut in the revival of Terrence McNally’s It’s Only a Play, playing (fittingly) a newbie coat-check attendant that THR theater critic David Rooney called “a real find” among an all-star ensemble that includes Matthew Broderick, Martin Short, F. Murray Abraham and Stockard Channing. Stock was previously a cast member in McNally’s play And Away We Go Off-Broadway. On television, he has appeared on Law & Order: SVU and the dramas Pan Am and Deception. He continues to be repped by Anonymous Content.

Classic with a twist

Mozart in the Jungle author Blair Tindall has signed with Deraney Public Relations. The oboist serves as a consultant for the Amazon series based on her memoir, starring Malcolm McDowell, Gael Garcia Bernal, Bernadette Peters and Lola Kirke. Tindall played principal oboe with the New York Philharmonic, the San Francisco Symphony, the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and the Orchestra of St. Luke’s and also served as solo oboe chair of Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, Man of La Mancha and Aspects of Love on Broadway.
