Report: Charlie Sheen Hospitalized After Trashing NYC Hotel Room
Troubled “Two and a Half Men” star reportedly threw tables and chairs before estranged wife, reality star Denise Richards, took him to a hospital.
NEW YORK - Police were called to Manhattan's Plaza Hotel Tuesday morning around 2am after a drunk and naked Charlie Sheen had trashed his suite, the New York Post reported.
An NYPD spokeswoman told The Hollywood Reporter around 10:45am that the only available official information to-date was that a white male, age 45 had been taken from the hotel to a downtown hospital.
A Sheen representative told etonline.com that the actor "had an adverse allergic reaction to some medication" and is expected to be released from the hospital on Wednesday.
The Post cited sources as saying that tables and chairs had been thrown around Sheen's Plaza room and a chandelier was damaged and that his ex-wife Denise Richards, who was staying in a separate room, took him to the hospital.
Sheen told police he had been "out partying," sources told the paper. After returning to his room with an unidentified woman, the actor noticed his wallet was missing, causing him to get enraged, the Post said.
Last year, Sheen was arrested after a fight with then-wife Brooke Mueller who had called 911.
