Adapted from S. Williams' novel, the female revenge thriller is being produced by Matthew George's Savvy Media Holdings.

Ivy Agregan, the visual effects producer whose credits include Academy Award winners The Revenant and Birdman (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), is set to make her directorial debut with the adaptation of female revenge thriller Tuesday Falling.

Matthew George's Savvy Media Holdings acquired rights to the S. Williams novel — first published by HarperCollins in 2015 — and tapped Agregan to direct.

A crime thriller with a technological twist, Tuesday Falling follows Tuesday, a woman who lives beneath the streets of London in a hidden network of underground tunnels. After suffering extreme cruelty at the hands of men, she takes it upon herself to seek vengeance.

David Hoffman penned the screenplay and re-unites with Savvy after previously developing a JFK miniseries with George and Rob Reiner for Warner Brothers and writing on NBC’s Timeless. Savvy Media's George will produce with Courtney Shepard and TJ Bryson who will executive produce.

Savvy recently acquired the rights to Alex Davies’ Driven: The Race to Create the Autonomous Car, which profiles Anthony Levandowski, who last month was pardoned by former President Donald Trump. The company recently tapped Justin Lader to pen Battle of the Billionaires and partnered with Stampede Ventures to option the rights to screenwriter Ward Parry’s original spy-thriller Mr. Croup.

The company is known for films including Wind River, A Private War, and Rob Reiner’s Shock and Awe and LBJ. The company produced and financed the recently released The Secret: Dare to Dream starring Katie Holmes and Josh Lucas.

Agregan is represented by CAA, Bellevue Productions, and attorney Marios Rush. Hoffman is repped by Verve Talent and New Wave Entertainment. The deal for Tuesday Falling was negotiated by Jonathan Gardner and Molly Fenton on behalf of Savvy Media Holdings.
