Rick Ross Recovering; Photographed at Memphis Restaurant
The rapper, who suffered two mid-flight seizures on Friday, finally made it to his Wing Stop franchise, where he was due to appear on Saturday afternoon.
Rick Ross looks to be on the mend. Pals DJ Sam Sneaker and DJ Khaled tweeted photos of the rapper just after 9:00 p.m. EDT on Sunday night. Ross, along with manager Gucci Pucci and Khaled were posing outside his Memphis, Tennessee Wing Stop restaurant, where the MC was due to appear on Saturday afternoon to promote its opening.
Ross’ arrival in Memphis was delayed after suffering two reported seizures, each occurring mid-flight forcing emergency landings by both planes. The first occurred during a flight from Ft. Lauderdale to Memphis, the second onboard a private jet. He was later released from a Birmingham, Alabama hospital.
In between health scares, a rep for Ross told Billboard.com he was recovering and "fine."
On Saturday night, Ross was due to perform in Greensboro, North Carolina. His next scheduled live date is Friday, Oct. 21 at the Tabernacle in Atlanta. Two days later, he's due to join Busta Rhymes at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
God Forgives, I Don't, Ross' fifth album, is slated for release on Dec. 13. The rapper released its second single, "You The Boss," featuring Nicki Minaj, last week.
