'Everyone Else' rights to Cinema Guild

Berlin film fest winner set to be released theatrically next year

The Cinema Guild has acquired U.S.rights to Maren Ade's "Everyone Else," which follows a young couple whose relationship is tested during a vacation in Sardinia.

Winner of the Silver Bear Jury Grand Prize at this year's Berlin Film Festival, the film will be released theatrically next year.

The film's star Birgit Minichmayr, who won the best actress prize in Berlin.

The deal was negotiated by the Cinema Guild's Ryan Krivoshey and Bavaria Film International's Stefanie Zeitler.
