Rihanna, Manolo Blahnik Partner for Shoe Collection
Stepping into RiRi's shoes will soon be possible.
What can't Rihanna do these days? Not long after releasing her new Anti album, presenting the Fenty x Puma collection at New York Fashion Week and performing at the Brit Awards with Drake, RiRi is back at the drawing board again. This time she's partnering with Manolo Blahnik for a new shoe collection.
The collaboration, debuting May 5, features six limited-edition styles including an exaggerated over-the-knee denim bootie that comes equipped with a belt and bedazzled buckle. Said RiRi of the "9 to 5" boot, "If you’re trying to get back home to your bed, don’t wear them boots! You will get kidnapped in those boots, those boots are trouble."
Priced from $895 to $3,995, the collection will only be available to purchase in-store at the New York, London and Hong Kong retail locations.
"Working with Rihanna has been amazing and her drive, passion, creativity and style has been reflected in the designs, with fabulous results," the famed shoe designer said in a release.
Between designing shoes for Puma (Creeper, anyone?) and this latest collab with Blahnik, it wouldn't come as a huge surprise if the fashion icon launched her own footwear label in the near future.
