Rihanna's Va Va Voom 'Valerian' Moment Has the Internet Shook

Hello, Rihanna. 

Clad in a low-cut, fire-engine red Giambattista Valli ballgown from the Italian fashion house's fall 2017 collection, Badgal RiRi made a most dramatic entrance at the London premiere of Valerian on Monday evening. With her hair slicked away from her face and just a single pair of Chopard sparklers adorning her ears, all eyes were on the pop star's assets as she blazed down the blue carpet. (As you can imagine, the look has the internet shook.)

The romantic ballgown silhouette, a throwback to 19th century European court looks, has been a favorite of Rihanna's of late — she hit the Cannes catwalk in a billowing Dior gown, and cruised the Grammy Awards carpet in a two-piece Armani Prive look with a full, puffed up skirt. Her accessories of choice, naturally, are jewels from Chopard, the brand she collaborated with on a collection of red carpet-worthy bling earlier this year.

The singer and her stylist, Mel Ottenberg, have also become quite fond of Giambattista Valli and his voluminous dresses. Rihanna made headlines with her poufy pink tulle gown at the 2015 Grammy Awards, and again opted for pink tulle at last week's Hollywood premiere of Valerian. As they say — if it ain't broke ...
