RLR taps Carrasquillo

Management agency RLR Associates has launched a television programming division, naming former CBS Paramount Domestic TV executive Linda Carrasquillo as vp entertainment.

Carrasquillo will be responsible for developing and pitching programs in all genres, including reality television, and will act as executive producer and executive in charge of development on several of the shows. She also will develop and manage the agency's talent pool and directors and oversee all current programming projects.

Among the projects in development at RLR are a reality show with Paul Burrell, who was Princess Diana's butler and confidante; a Middle Ages-themed reality competition series; a dance-centric show with former "Dance Fever" host Deney Terrio; a court show with a twist; and a reality legal advocate series starring Michael Mazzariello.

Before joining RLR, Carrasquillo was vp programming at CBS Paramount from 1999-2006. In that post, she was the programming, development and production executive for all East Coast programming based in New York, including "The Montel Williams Show." Before that, she held positions at Lifetime, Edge Entertainment, Chris Craft Television Prods. and Viacom International.

"Linda brings nearly two decades of day-to-day television and production experience at major syndicators and cable networks to her new role at RLR," agency president Robert Rosen said. "We are developing many shows and are very pleased to have someone of Linda's caliber overseeing our expansion."
