Rob Estes to star in CW's '90210'

Actor will play father in series

Rob Estes has signed on to star in the CW's "90210," rounding out the cast of the spinoff.

The show, from CBS Paramount, centers on the Mills, a three-generation Beverly Hills family.

Estes will play the father, Harry Mills, who takes a job as principal of West Beverly High, his alma mater, after he moves his family from Kansas back to Beverly Hills to take care of his aging alcoholic mother, Tabitha (Jessica Walter).

This is the second spinoff from Fox's "Beverly Hills, 90210" that Estes stars in. He played Kyle McBride on "Melrose Place."

Estes most recently co-starred in ABC's "Women's Murder Club" and was approached to join "90210" immediately after "Club" was canceled earlier this week.

He is repped by ICM, Thruline and attorney Brad Small.
