Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele and Will Forte also are starring in the comedy about a missing cat.

Rob Huebel has joined the cast of New Line's comedy Keanu, which also stars Keegan-Michael Key, Nia Long, Jordan Peele and Will Forte.

The script, written by Peele and Alex Rubens, revolves around a group of friends pretending to be drug dealers in order to rescue a stolen cat.

Peter Atencio, the director of Key and Peele’s Comedy Central series, will helm Keanu, which is set for release on April 22, 2016. Key and Peele are producing the film along with Peter Principato and Joel Zadak for Principato-Young.

Huebel will play Spencer, a friend and neighbor to Key and Long's characters.

Huebel also has booked a role in indie Miss Stevens, which centers on a teacher (Lily Rabe) who chaperones a group of high schoolers to a state drama competition. Huebel plays a fellow teacher who meets Rabe's character at the competition and flirts with her, even though he's married. Julia Hart is directing the film, which is now in production.

Huebel also appears on Amazon's popular series Transparent and will return for the second season. He continues to star in Adult Swim's Childrens Hospital and FX's The League. He's repped by Principato-Young, UTA and attorney Karl Austen.
