The search giant has released its comprehensive trending list for the fourteenth year

Following the Aug. 11 death of Robin Williams the actor became the most-searched topic of 2014 on Google. 

The search giant revealed Tuesday its 14th annual Year in Search with a number of lists about trending topics throughout 2014. The most-searched topics reflect the biggest events and moments of the year. After Williams, rounding out the top 5 topics were the World Cup in Brazil, Ebola, Malaysia Airlines and addictive mobile game Flappy Bird.

To most-searched person of the year was actress Jennifer Lawrence. No. 2 on the list, which excludes people who died in 2014, was Kim Kardashian, and rounding out the top three was comedian Tracy Morgan, who sustained a number of injuries following a deadly car accident in June.

The biggest movies of the year, according to Google, were Disney animated hit Frozen, Christopher Nolan directed sci-fi drama Interstellar, Shailene Woodley starrer Divergent, David Fincher directed adaptation Gone Girl and Mark Wahlberg war film Lone Survivor. Meanwhile, trailers for Gone Girl, Interstellar, Divergent, Frozen and The Lego Movie topped the most-searched trailer list. 

The most-searched TV shows of the year were: HBO's Game of Thrones, Fusion comedy news program No, You Shut Up!, crime drama True Detective, Netflix's Orange is the New Black and Bravo reality series Blood, Sweat & Heels. 

Google even broke down some specific categories, including trending celebrity pregnancies, where Mila Kunis took the No. 1 spot for her child with Ashton Kutcher, and trending weddings, which was topped by Kardashian's marriage to Kanye West in May.
