Rogers scoops up rest of Outdoor net

Canada's regulators approve $39 mil transaction

TORONTO -- Canadian broadcaster Rogers Media on Monday received the regulatory green light to pay $39 million for CTVglobemedia and Comcast's respective one-third interests in Outdoor Life Network Canada.

Toronto-based Rogers first unveiled the proposed transaction in November 2007, under which it would acquire minority stakes from domestic broadcaster CTVglobemedia and Versus, the Comcast-owned, U.S.-based channel formerly known as Outdoor Life Network.

The takeover leaves Rogers as the sole owner of Outdoor Life Network Canada.
