Paris Fashion Week: A Decade of Roland Mouret's 'Galaxy' Dress
From Naomi Watts to Beyonce and Kim Kardashian, Hollywood has had a love affair with the bodycon dress over the last 10 years.
London-based French designer Roland Mouret's presentation Oct. 4 marked the 10th anniversary of his signature bodycon "galaxy" dress — and the unveiling of a limited-edition #GalaxyTen capsule collection for the show’s grand finale. “Its sharp yet feminine structure took the world by storm,” said Mouret in his spring-summer 2016 show notes.
In honor of Mouret’s galaxy reboot, here’s a look back at Hollywood’s leading ladies rocking the style on the red carpet.
The Aussie actress was one of the first to step out in Mouret’s galaxy dress on the red carpet, arriving in a teal version for The Interpreter premiere at NYC’s Tribeca Film Festival opening night in 2005.
