Christmas came early.

Looks like we've been good boys and girls this year, because Santa just delivered.

That's right, the royal family's annual Christmas portrait, starring the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Princess Charlotte, Prince George and Prince George's beloved plump cheeks, has arrived courtesy of Kensington Palace.

The palace states that the photograph was taken earlier this year, which is likely the reason that Kate Middelton's baby bump is pretty much invisible behind her sensible pastel blue skirt suit.

In other royal news, the palace also announced this morning that Princess Charlotte, two, will enroll at Willcocks Nursery School in London in 2018, because it's never too early to teach a princess that Monday to Friday grind.

Nursery school! A royal wedding! Another prince/princess! The future's looking bright for the Royal fam.
