Warners' superhero movie easily came in No. 1.

Warner Bros.' Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice topped the weekend in Russia, becoming the biggest opening ever for a DC Comics film.

Zack Snyder's superhero movie grossed 525 million rubles ($7.7 million), which accounted for 65 percent of the top-five market share.

Disney's animated tentpole Zootopia slipped to second place after topping the Russian box office for three consecutive weekends. The pic grossed $2.1 million in its fourth frame for a cume of $28.4 million.

Dmitry Dyachenko's family comedy SuperBobrovs stayed at No. 3, taking in $1 million for a total of $3.3 million to date.

The local animated film Smeshariki. Legenda of Zolotom Drakone (Kikoriki. Legend of the Golden Dragon) slipped to fourth place. The second feature-length installment in the Kikoriki franchise, directed by Denis Chernov and distributed by Universal, grossed $890,000 for a cume of $3.1 million.

Action thriller London Has Fallen stayed at No. 5, grossing $436,000 for a cume of $2 million.
