Ryan Reynolds' Aviation Gin Partners With Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Atlantic

The deal will see the gin brand on Virgin airlines as well as its lounges, known as Virgin American Clubhouses.

Ryan Reynolds’ Aviation American Gin is taking flight with Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Atlantic.

Crossing both sides of the Pond, Virgin and Aviation have teamed up in a deal that will see the gin brand on Virgin airlines as well as in its lounges, known as Virgin American Clubhouses.

To celebrate the new partnership, a selection of lucky passengers on board Virgin Atlantic flights on Sept. 30 will receive a special mixology experience hosted by bartenders from bars around the globe, such as The Dead Rabbit in New York and Smugglers Cove in San Francisco, per the announcement made by Virgin Atlantic.

The two companies will also be bringing their partnership to this year’s London Cocktail Week, running Oct. 3-7.

Branson and Reynolds will appear in co-branded digital content this fall, with the two toasting the team-up in a video seen below.

Said Branson in a statement: “I’m delighted Virgin Atlantic is working with Ryan and his team on this partnership. Aviation Gin was born out of a spirit of innovation, so serving it on board Virgin Atlantic flights seemed like the perfect combination.”

“I’ve been a huge fan of Sir Richard Branson and Virgin for years,” stated Reynolds. “For Aviation to be chosen as the gin of choice for such an iconic and quintessentially British brand is a complete honor. We look forward to serving Virgin Atlantic guests for years to come and, on a personal note, Sir Richard has promised to teach me the difference between revenue and profit, so I am beyond excited.”

Reynolds became an owner in Aviation in February.
