Top Chef Season 4 Scott Ryan - P 2012

"Food Rush," starring season four competitor and San Francisco chef Ryan Scott, gets a late-summer debut.

The Live Well Network has added another unscripted original to its roster of lifestyles programming, this time focusing on the culinary world with a new series following a former Top Chef competitor.

Food Rush, premiering Sept. 8, follows San Francisco chef (and a season four veteran of the Bravo competition) Ryan Scott as he works on a catering business, food truck and the opening of a new restaurant.

"Chef Ryan Scott’s culinary expertise paired with his dynamic personality is a valuable addition to our stellar line up of talent," said Live Well VP of programming Peggy Allen. "We are excited to welcome a chef who has trained with some of America’s most legendary talent and gained such critical acclaim to the Live Well Network."

In addition to the narrative from Scott's personal and professional lives, he'll also share recipes. He joins recent Live Well originals My Family Recipe Rocks, hosted by Joey Fatone, We Owe What? with Mary Caraccioli and Live Big With Ali Vincent.

“Food has always been a passion for me and I’m thrilled to share my love of the industry, and all of the ups, downs and drama that come with it, with viewers all across the country,” said Scott.

The Live Well Network, founded in 2009, is operated by the Disney-ABC Television Group and currently reaches 67 affiliate group -- 64 percent of U.S. households.
